Agathi keerai is fast growing and soft wooded tree grows up to 3-8mt in height. Leaves are regular, deciduous, and abruptly pinnate and rounded about 15-30cm long and has 10-20 leaflets. According to different species this plant bears red and white flowers. Flowers are long, has 2-4 flower racemes, shallowly 2 lipped and are boat shaped.

  • The seeds typically germinate within 1 to 2 weeks.
  • For higher yields, sow during the early monsoon or after the first rains.
  • Harvest the leaves 30-45 days after sowing.

Specification

Soil and Sowing:

  • Agathi Keerai prefers well-drained, loamy to sandy soil with a slightly acidic pH (6.0-7.5).
  • Enrich the soil with organic matter like compost or cow dung.
  • Sow the seeds about 1 cm deep.
  • Maintain a spacing of 30-40 cm between plants to allow for growth,
  • Soak the seeds in hot water (around 80°C) for 2-3 minutes to soften the hard seed coat.
  • Transfer the seeds to cold water and soak for another 12 hours.
  • This pre-treatment helps in faster and more uniform germination

RETURNS

All returns must be postmarked within one days of the delivery date. All returned items must be in new and unused condition, with all original tags and labels attached.

RETURN PROCESS

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations will be considered only if the request is made immediately after placing the order. However, the cancellation request may not be entertained if the orders have been communicated to shipping.
